I am going to be really honest when I say, I hate first thinking about content strategies when starting a new online venture. It comes dangerously close to being SEO, and I absolutely hate SEO!

Fortunately, a content strategy does not need to have too much to do with SEO, and I would find it very hard to build anything without one. A content strategy is basically a process that gives you two fundamental things:

1) An idea and a vision of what the user is going to read, see and experience on your website (a marketing/sales funnel)

2) An early indication of the work you are going to have put in.

As usual, I am trying to keep this process simple and short. The more time I put into “strategy, planning, analysis, research etc” the less time I actually spend doing anything that is going to make me money!

The Niche (CS 1)

My goal in 2012 is to start an online business that I can work on in my spare time, and eventually I want this project to make me money on auto-pilot, and also allow me to one day quit my day-job (when I am ready and financially secure enough to do so). Starting From Scratch

It has been almost exactly 11 months since I posted to this blog. Despite my honest and ambitious intentions for this website, I simply let it fall in the list of my priorities, and I completely stopped writing on it, updating it or even dealing with the slew of spam comments it was receiving.

However, in spite of this, over the last 11 months, there has been a tiny trickle of traffic consistently finding it’s way to this blog, and a lot of that seems to be coming from people coming here directly, from the Warrior Forum, or from searching for this website on Google.

So, after a brief chat with an old friend in the Internet Marketing space, I have decided to start working on this blog again as a genuine live project.
